The massive pollution in all the Olympic venues is being amply touted in the western press. However the cause of the pollution is forgotten, as the health issues are the focus. Olympic committee has announced it will even reschedule or move events indoors from the problems.

When you ask yourself just who elected Nick Sarkozy president of Europe you may find yourself without answer. While every Frenchman may seem to be proud to be leading Europe and Sarkozy has taken the empire in true French a plume the question remains; who elected you president?

Nick Sarkozy told a meeting of deputies (un-elected law makers for the EU) in Paris July 15th “The Irish will have to vote again.”

It was more than disappointing when the presidential hopeful Barack Obama confirmed his change in direction voting yes on the Telecom immunity bill. The ACLU and most Americans are severely shocked at this caviler vote and the construct used to give up on holding the Telecoms or Bush accountable for high crimes of illegal spying on Americans. Obama has denied the rights of those abused by the criminal actions of Verizon, AT&T and other telecoms in exchange for a vast war chest to fund the coming elections.

For over a year the Bush administration has been trying to push an agreement, not a treaty that would have to go to the Congress, with the installed puppet regime to keep US troops in the country and take the nations oil wealth for its private corporations. The Bush agreement also demands complete sovereignty in Iraq for all US officials and mercenary and private military contractors to move, attack, arrest, with immunity with a license to kill without question.

Evil Will Find A Way When Responsibility Is Taken By Someone in Authority

It is a stunner as the Senate decided to test the waters at home this summer rather than incur the rancor of locals over immunity for crimes by telecommunication companies and the president.

The bill, which passed the Democratic controlled House, now grants the immunity to the telecoms in exchange for continued financial support through the elections. The bill also grants any agents of the government the right to spy on Americans as long as they let the courts know in a week or two after. That means spying any way possible including your email, phone calls, mobile number and microphones in your home, office or play spaces. All with no court order and instigated by any agent of the government without the need for any orders or oversight. Just a whim.

French and European president Nicolas Sarkozy will make the European Army the major theme during his nations six-month presidency of the EU. On June 17 Sarkozy addressed French military oligarchs and assured them “whatever the future of the Treaty of Lisbon” he would persevere at bringing the supranational war force to life.

The US government has gone deeper in the property business becoming partners in foreclosure. Recent wrangling in the Congress has been only around whether to go $3.9 billion more into debt or $15 billion dollars into debt. Either way the bill is supposedly a bailout of foreclosed homes to help out the few who paid inflated prices and interest to the banks but is really a bailout of the banks allowing the government to take over more real estate risks and assets.

Gas Pump Blues As You Pay Your Dues

There is no black magic in figuring out why gas is so expensive at the pump. Politicians hiding the truth from the voters with distractions such as speculators, oil company windfalls, etc, blaming them as the cause for the rise in oil prices are a pile of horse pucks meant to confuse rather than explain. The cost of a barrel of oil is not based on a dollar value it is based on gold. The oil producing nations are no longer happy eating the inflation of an out of control US government.
