Iceland Stands Where Peoples of the World Failed

It is a story reminiscent of David and Goliath, the people of Iceland stand where the people of the world succumbed to their governments financial give away to their favorite banks. Polls in the USA showed over 70 percent of the people were adamantly against giving private business bailouts. But the UK, USA, France, Germany etc were totally insulated from public will by their vast armies and power. Iceland, with a population of less than 320,000 allowed the people a way to stand against the frauds of banks and government rapists to take private debt and turn it into public debt.

The problem was simple; bankers and government defrauded English and Dutch savers with unreal interest on accounts and scammed the money for themselves. The same story as bankers in the US and other nations. The difference is when the governments of the UK, France, Holland and England gave free handouts to their bankers and financial companies the cost per citizen was about $60 each man woman and child where in Iceland the bill would come closer to $40,000 per man, woman, and child. A real incentive to stand against the government’s perverse handouts.

It is hard to find anyone in the world happy with their governments free handouts to private institutions. Yet in all the nations not one uprising took place to stop it. Iceland has stood tall while others kowtowed to the corrupt government partners of the banks who made the problem.

It is our duty to support the efforts of the people of Iceland. It was not they who created the ponzi schemes that ripped off UK and Dutch investors. Those people who allowed their greed and desire for more than normal payoffs prevented them from seeing the frauds being perpetrated by International bankers and their cronies in government. Gordon Brown calls Icelanders terrorists when it is he and his government who are the only ones terrorizing.

Economies of scale prevent the USA, UK and other major nations from facing similar rebukes from the populations even though the feelings of the vast majority are like those of Iceland. It is our hopes that Iceland will show the world how to deal with governments that interfere in the collapse of private companies using the sweat of their brows.
