No to any religious franchise yet.

Did you know that you signed an agreement today? German Reich Chancellor Merkel as acting president of the fitfully forming new national force, reminiscent of the Holy Roman Empire, signed an agreement that she hoped would bring a new constitution by June.

“Although the text was prepared behind closed doors by German diplomats, it speaks explicitly for the European citizens, saying "We, the citizens of the European Union, have united for the better."

The pope was miserable that his cult was not being allowed its mention as sole franchise for religious cultism. "A society in which the Christian conscience does not live anymore loses direction, does not know anymore where to go, ends up empty and bankrupt," he moaned from his mount in St. Felcita in Rome.

Merkel had been hauled before the Pope who wants his religious franchise to be not just renewed but installed forever in the new national charter was not happy. But the German Chancellor Angela Merkel as well as Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi, reaffirmed their support for its inclusion in a new EU treaty they want adopted by 2009.

Prodi told reporters on Sunday that he had unsuccessfully fought for the inclusion of Christian roots in an amendment that he hoped would be accepted.

While these new “citizens” do not realize that their nations are being absorbed into a new monolithic unelected committee run monarchy that will not have public recourse the pope is trying to once again insert his contracts before any others within its infrastructure. He sees the writing on the wall. The very people who derived their authority from his cult are ignoring his franchise. He must be frothing.
