With US aircraft carriers entering the Gulf this week Washington was quick to stand united in pretending this is not intended to provoke a confrontation with Iran. The United States government sent two aircraft carriers into the Gulf but “they are not there to provoke any kind of conflict with Iran” stated the Senate Foreign Relations Committee member Undersecretary of State Nicholas Burns.

“We’re convinced diplomacy is the way to proceed. We are most definitely on a diplomatic track. We do not believe that conflict with Iran is inevitable. We need to be patient and persistent,” Burns continued.

Burns said the Gulf was "not an Iranian lake (but an) international waterway."

"We will protect the right of companies and nations to use the Gulf for international commerce and for it to be a peaceful region, not a violent region," Burns continues.

The United States sends 2 huge killing machines over 12,000 miles from their border fully loaded alongside their invading forces in Iraq of 135,000 troops and even more support personal and this saber rattling is not antagonistic?

This is not the same as if Iran parked a few aircraft carriers off the Boston harbor. They would be welcome?

Washington’s frauds were soon exposed when Saudi King Abdullah surprised Washington on Wednesday by telling an Arab summit that, "In beloved Iraq, blood flows between brothers in the shadow of illegitimate foreign occupation and hateful sectarianism, threatening a civil war."

The United States rejected Saudi Arabia's charge that Iraq is under an “illegitimate foreign occupation" and said U.S. troops are there at Iraq's invitation, under a U.N. mandate. "It is not accurate to say that the United States is occupying Iraq," said White House spokeswoman Dana Perino.

Little was said about the fact that the U.S.A. invaded Iraq to find WMD and found none – but did not leave. Little was said about the fact that the U.S.A. then installed a group of people as “government”, which by definition is a puppet government, and surprise that the puppets ask the U.S.A. to stay and keep them in power. It is no coincidence that the Iraqi “rulers” now stay with the Americans in the new “Green Zone”. We hear the “Green Zone” will soon get International recognition as its own province of the U.S.A. No more problem about invitations or not.

The U.S. House-passed a measure that requires the withdrawal of combat troops by Sept. 1, 2008. This bill is a farcical attempt to validate the will of the people by setting a date of withdrawal for the next election date. This was done even though they were elected to get out of Iraq now. The Senate bill mandates the beginning of a withdrawal within 120 days, and sets a nonbinding goal of March 2008, for its completion. The nonbinding part means that the bill means nothing and is a token gesture to the people as the murder, mayhem, rape of natural resources and plunder of our nation and other nations continues by the USA through their governance. Clearly the voice of the people is not represented with the criminals that run and gain office in our nation.
