Rick Siegel Prespectives on Freedom and Liberty

It gives one some joy to hear that at a recent EU summit German chancellor, and Christian Democrat, Angela Merkel has lost her (and the pope’s) crusade to propagate the Christian religious franchise. Her jihad to insert the language of a “ Christian God” and “heritage”, (an all powerful, all seeing entity that controls this life and afterlife in a “heaven” or “hell”) into the already dead, yet returned to “life”, zombie EU Constitution (now referred to as a treaty to ease its surreptitious implementation without a general vote) being abruptly dismissed. It is regrettable that the reasons for this were the variety of religious franchises vying for your attention to their versions of “all powerful entities controlling the gates of heaven or hell.”

"You know what my personal view is. I would have liked the constitution to deliver such a reference. But as president of the European Council, I see there is not much of a chance," Angela Merkel stated on the prospects of God appearing in a preamble to the EU text. "I can't hold out any hope," Merkel added.

The EU preferred to pander to the various religious franchises as economic entities to be profited, as they will serve up docile subjects for the state coffers and laws.

Merkel took the opportunity of the meeting to try and obfuscate human rights and attach it to simple crimes of theft. Blurring the bounds of “personal dignity” with a centuries old crusade for her favorite religious franchise. Taking a jab at the situation in Cyprus (say, wasn’t that island “bought” by the Rothshields for funding the popes army a few centuries ago?) Ms Merkel stated at the final press conference the EU "can't close its eyes" to violations of "human dignity" in "particular terms" such as "the fact religious property is being damaged in Northern Cyprus."

We are supposed to depend on the “state” for protection from our property being damaged or looted, it is not secular. It matters not whose cult you belong. For a “leader” of the “state” to make a certain secular franchise special in this respect shows the power that the Christian cult still wields with their mythology and their desire to stay number one in the god franchise business.

Clearly Reich Chancellor Merkel has not understood “human” dignity and wants to rally humans in the EU around a battle of religious franchises. Getting people angered with religious fervor pointing out incidents from a single sided view can be considered inflammatory and inciteful of hate. This is contrary to recent “hate laws” passed by this same presidency in the EU. In cheerleading one religious franchise over another it is clear that the era of rationality will not be seen soon within the EU. The ancient papal powers want to keep their monopolistic religious franchise static as the state sponsored religious franchise within Europe and America.
