Rick Siegel Prespectives on Freedom and Liberty

The recent Democratic Party debacle, pitting a woman against a black man, presents a competition, one you feel you must chose from. A one way or the other and no other way can be possible. This farce is presented as the pinnacle of liberty when in fact it is tantamount to a media directed submission to the will of the global moneyed interests.

Think about the choices presented here in the Democratic Party. You have a possibility of the first black president in Barak Hussein Obama (D, IL), whom the press is afraid to use his middle name and the first woman president in Hillary Rodham Clinton (who loves to show her royal roots in that middle name). This is a setup from the start. There is no one who will deny the corruptions that are present in a return to a Clinton rule. Yet this alternative only offers the race/sex card.

B. H. Obama is really nothing more than a good Baptist preacher. Platitudes, great speaking skills, and an even temperament are presented rather than any experience or results. Capable of culling a billion dollars to obtain the nomination the question is always how much did that cost? An unknown orator is about to run for president? Has Barnum and Bailey taken over the governing of the United States? Sucker born every minute? Are we all to be lost to this charade?

The nation has really had it with the Clintons. I don’t know if his pardons of his rich friends on departure or his signing treaties enslaving Americans to the UN are worse. What I do know is that the fortunes that are trying to gain back power there already have tasted the trophy and are desperate. That is why she will fight to the end.

Two complete idiotic choices to lead you. If you sat and could have anyone in the world do this job would you really pick one of these two extra aces in the pack?

Any reasonable person would want someone much better and probably knows a few around them that could do that job just fine. I imagine even the reader here is a better choice. Given the choice of the better of two evils leaves you only evil to choose. Is that how life must be? Are you content to vote and choose evil?

The question will remain why we are all so busy that we cannot partake of the civic responsibility that comes with freedom? Allowing the press to run free without restrictions to equal time and making the bar to admittance based on how many billions you can take in favors is not working. Having a federal overlord was not the idea behind the original states banding together for protection and growth.

Somehow the nation has turned into something it was never intended. The word Democracy has been twisted and applied to inventions it should not. The once free Republic of the united States of America has morphed into a federal democracy based in social welfare and the definition of communism hides under the cloak of “social democracy”.
