US Congressmen vote for bills for their investment portfolios with full immunity

A recent review of Congressional disclosure statements finds that many members of the various powerful contracting committees including Sen. John Kerry, Joseph Leiberman and Roy Blunt are all profiteering off the war they support through votes and government contracts they bestow on their investment portfolios.

To be fair the study found while more Republicans were profiteering from war contracts they passed the Democrats had significantily larger investments. The point being that the holdings present a huge conflict of interest as the government who goes to war profits from its creations. Both Democrats and Republicans are allowing each other this rape at the expense of the world as it grows the defence industry out of proportion.

Business runs as usual among the rulers as they remain above morality or law and profit by its nuances. The common subject, or citizen, will still have the right to watch more Fox News, cable TV if you pay, and to vote for the next insider who will profit at your expense.
