Pope, You Forgot Terrorism and War

The pope has come and gone and left his legacy. Chastisement of the gay clergy for ruining so many lives and a call to putting it all behind and joining in the celebration of the cults many years of change.

As the pope moved through cities in special Mercedes Benz automobiles and jet planes one thing was aptly missing. Not one mention of the many wars, deaths, torture, and destruction of nations committed by his hosts. There was no call for true cult believers to come back to their fold and stop the murders. No call to end torture. No call to end the war in Iraq based on lies of WMD. Nothing. Just “Hey stop molesting little boys!”

The Disney owned press is already blazing the news of his successful trip to the USA but not one of the pope’s followers was told of the evil of torture, the sin of murder for gain or even a word about the many Americans who have died in the effort to make the lies real.

We can all hope that the Catholic priests who lay hands on children every day will stop molesting them but at the same time the holier than thou has once again encouraged the idea that the war in the Middle East is a war for his cult. Certainly the corporate USA has taken a large chunk of Iraq for itself and most of its natural wealth through a trumped up set of charges that have all proved lies. This is all in line with the past popes expansion of the Holy Roman Empire, but we were hoping to move to modern times.

All in all it was a great circus with parades, waving figures, and street sellers selling everything from picture pendants to holy water urinals and as the holy see heads back to his empire we bid a fond farewell to his fish hat. May the farce be with you.
