An astounding fact buried in reverse numbers is the fact that 89 percent of Americans give Congress negative marks! 77 Percent disapprove of George Bush. The miniscule minorities that may be pleased are sure to be the profiteers who have provided the catastrophe the people now face economically, politically and globally.

While this Reuters article refers to their own Reuters/Zogby poll it is clear that the authors were trying to spin the small numbers while obscuring the larger issues showing the massive discontent in the USA. Bush has an approval of 23 percent and 10 percent of Congress got good marks? So one has to stop and realize that 90 percent of Americans think Congress (democrats and republicans) suck. In fact in past polls it seems that congress gets negative remarks 75 percent of the time. No one really like the way they are “represented” and a whopping 77 percent of Americans give Bush the thumbs down. All this and nothing has changed and nothing will – no matter how much the candidates claim

Every candidate for every office will continue the rape of the nation. One will take over your health and the other your health and anything to get into office. We have a circus of corporate groomed nebbishes ready to mold their features to whatever pleases as they will all just continue the present direction and forgive the crimes of the past.

When the elections are over there will be a slow disappearing of all the corruption investigations and all hopes for some justice on the illegal spying of the present president, the collusion of the mass media, or the illegal acts of the telecom companies. All of it will just be gone in their business as usual partisan forgiveness politics. The new winners (whomever) will take over the office of theft from the public good and continue the rape in good faith. Nothing will change without regime change.
